Biography

Areas of specialty treatments:

Dr. Yang has several areas of specialty treatments including common paediatric diseases (upper respiratory tract infection, pneumonia, gastritis, dyspepsia) and neurological diseases (Tourette’s syndrome, seizure and epilepsy, headache and dizziness, neurogenetic diseases and neuroimmune diseases).

Education:

Dr. Yang received her bachelor and master’s degree from Shanghai Tongji University in 2007 and 2009. She completed her medical training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology at Shanghai Children’s Hospital in 2013, where she treated patients and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from paediatrics, paediatric neurology to paediatric emergency. From 2016 to 2017, she visited the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA for medical study as a visiting scholar.

Background:

Dr. Yang has over 10 years of clinical experience. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital, she served at Shanghai Children’s Hospital as a specialist in paediatrics, paediatric neurology and paediatric emergency. She was also a visiting scholar at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA. She is a member of the International Paediatric MS Study Group (IPMSSG) and the Paediatric Neurological Branch, Shanghai Medical Association. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Yang has been published in several medical journals, including Medical Science Monitor. Currently, she is an editorial board member for the Journal of Neurosciences in Rural Practice and International Journal of Neurological Disorders and Interventions. Dr. Yang also participated in the National Natural Science Foundation Project as a prominent researcher and contributed to one of the medical monographs.
As part of her clinical practice, she holds certification from the National Examination of Electroencephalography Technology.
