Areas of specialty:

Dr. Wu has several areas of specialty including congenital heart diseases, arrhythmias, Kawasaki disease, myocarditis and cardiomyopathy in children, especially in interventional treatment of congenital heart diseases and radiofrequency ablation of arrhythmias, as well as prenatal diagnosis and decision making of fetal heart diseases.

Education:

Dr. Wu received her Medical Degree from Shanghai Medical University in 1994. In 2002, she received her PhD in Pediatrics from Fudan University. Dr. Wu completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Fudan University in 1999, where she treated patients, and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from general pediatrics to pediatric cardiology. Dr. Wu received advanced clinical research and skills training in John Radcliffe Hospital of Oxford University in UK from Jan. 2004 to Jan. 2005 and Children’s Hospital of University of British Columbia in Canada from Aug. 2008 to Dec. 2008, respectively.

Background:

Dr. Wu has nearly 30 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare Shanghai Service Area, Dr. Wu served in Children’s Hospital of Fudan University as director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and deputy director of Cardiology Department, where she specialized in interventional therapy of congenital heart diseases and radiofrequency ablation of arrhythmias. In the recent 10 years, Dr. Wu has cooperated closely with Fetal Medicine Department of Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital affiliated to Tongji University, providing prenatal consultation and perinatal diagnosis and treatment advice for fetal heart diseases.
