The Department of Mental Health as known as Psychological Health at Shanghai United Family Pudong Hospital (SHUPH) is dedicated to providing you with the necessary tools to improve the quality of your life. We provide expert, professional services in English and Mandarin. Our licensed professionals have a broad range of specialties and are highly-trained.
We provide consultation, assessment, and treatment to adults and/or children as individuals, couples, or families. Assessment includes psycho-educational testing and neuro-psychological evaluations to help clarify an individual’s intellectual functioning and diagnosis.

We also consult with companies to develop and maintain Employee Assistance Programs with schools and other organizations on a variety of topics. In addition, our hospital has a short-term psychiatric inpatient facility for crisis management that is staffed by an attending physician, our team of mental health professionals and consulting psychiatrists.
