Dr. GE has several areas of specialty including gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and thyroid diseases.

Education:

Dr. Ge received his Bachelor of Medicine Degree from Wenzhou Medical University in 1982, and Master of Medicine Degree from Third Military Medical University in 1987. Dr. Ge is very good at surgical treatment on hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal, perianal, thyroid, hernia, and blood vessels diseases. He is experienced in laparoscopic surgery as well as acute abdomen and critical illness in general surgery.

Background:

Dr. Ge has over 40 years’ clinical experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare Shanghai Service Area, Dr. Ge served in Shanghai East Hospital as a specialist in Department of General Surgery. Dr.Ge is the member of National Science and Technology Reward Expert Committee, and the member of Graduate Education and Diploma Management of National Education Ministry. Dr. GE is also the tutor of doctorate degree of Tongji University. He has more than 10 doctorate graduates and 30 master graduates. He has published more than 100 papers in academic journals both in mainland and abroad.
