Dr. Zhang has long been committed to the treatment of gynecological diseases and maternal health care management, specializing in various gynecological surgeries and obstetric complications.

Education:

Dr. Zhang received his bachelor’s degree from Capital Medical University and later completed his master’s and doctoral studies in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Clinical) at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. After graduation, Dr. Zhang completed the standardized training for resident doctors at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University (Shanghai Hong Fangzi Hospital).

Background:

Dr. Zhang has nearly 20 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Hospital, Dr. Zhang worked at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital affiliated to Fudan University for a long time. With more than 4,000 deliveries and cesarean sections, he has rich experience in pregnancy care and delivery assistance for high-risk women. Dr. Zhang is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of gynecological diseases, and has unique insights in reproductive endocrinology, infertility, endometriosis, and so on.

Dr. Zhang was appointed by The State Council to support the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário in Macao Special Administrative Region for two years. Dr. Zhang was also sent by the Ministry of Health to receive training at Santa Maria Memorial Hospital in Florence, Italy.

Dr. Zhang is a member of the American Society of Gynecological Laparoscopy and is a British Fetal Medical Foundation certified Ultrasound screening doctor. He has the robotic surgery qualifications. In addition to focusing on clinical, Dr. Zhang is also a standardized training instructor for Chinese residents. He has participated in the compilation of many books, and the formulation of a number of clinical guidelines. He has published many academic articles in medical journals.
