Dr. Xu has several areas of specialty including emergency medicine, trauma, and intensive care.

Education:

Dr. Xu received his Master’s Degree of Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2017. He finished his OB/GYN Residency Training at International Peace Maternity and Child Health Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2019. During his residency training, he often took an active part in the medical treatment of critical injury cases, and hence developed a profound interest in emergency medicine. Afterwards, he began to work as an emergency physician.

Work Background:

Dr. Xu has over 5 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare Shanghai, Dr. Xu served in Shanghai PuTuo District Central Hospital as a physician in the emergency department where he gained valuable experience and expertise in treating various emergency and trauma cases, and gained his attending physician certificate. He also holds certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) in Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). In 2021, Dr. Xu joined the UFH Emergency Fellowship Training Program, aiming to provide high quality medical service in line with international standards, for patients from all over the world.
