Dr. Qi has several areas of special good at, including the diagnosis and treatment of urinary system tumors, stones, infections, prostate diseases, kidney transplantation and other diseases.

Education:

Dr. Qi graduated from Shanghai First Medical College (now the medical school of Fudan University) with a bachelor’s degree in 1983, and then received a doctor’s degree from the Second Military Medical University in 2003. In 1989, Dr. Qi completed the resident training in the Chang Zheng Hospital Affiliated to the Second Military Medical University. From 1998 to 1999, he went to the Toronto General Hospital Affiliated to the University of Toronto and the University Hospital Affiliated to the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He went to Cleveland, Massachusetts General Hospital, BWH, UCSF, USC, UKE and other famous medical centers in Europe and America for short-term intensive training. Have the ability to diagnosis and treatment of various urinary system diseases.

Background:

Dr. Qi has 39 years of clinical experience. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Qi worked in Shanghai Chang Zheng Hospital and Xinhua Hospital successively, and once served as department director and discipline leader. He is a doctoral supervisor, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and operation of urinary system tumors, stones, infections, prostate diseases, kidney transplantation. Dr. Qi is a chief doctor certified by the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau and an international member of the American and European Urological Association. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Qi has also published many academic articles in many medical journals, such as Journal of Urology and prostate.
