Dr. Jiang specializes in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She is an expert in early orthodontic treatment, standard and self-ligation braces treatment, and clear aligner treatment for both children and adults. Dr. Jiang places a strong emphasis on achieving optimal occlusal health and enhancing facial aesthetics, crafting personalized orthodontic treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Education:

Dr. Jiang has a dual education background in orthodontics from both China and the United States. In her early years, Dr. Jiang earned her PhD/orthodontics combined degree at West China School of Stomatology at Sichuan University, in collaboration with UCLA Dental and Craniofacial Research Institute. Subsequently, she continued her academic journey at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she served as a resident orthodontist and obtained certification from the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

Background:

Dr. Jiang is US board certified, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontist (ABO), a distinction earned by less than 30% of orthodontists in the United States. Licensed to practice orthodontics in both China and the United States, Dr. Jiang has over 10 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare Shanghai Service Area, she contributed her expertise to the renowned UCLA Thomas R. Bales Orthodontic Clinic and orthodontic specialty group, where she delivered high-quality and personalized diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of diverse ethnicities, languages, and age groups. She is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Besides clinical work, Dr. Jiang has multiple contributions to esteemed medical journals, including the Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine. Dr. Jiang has also garnered several research awards, notably the Dr. William R. Proffit Scholar Award from the American Association of Orthodontists.
