Jason ZHANG

Dr. Zhang has several areas of specialty including medical emergencies, pediatric emergent & urgent care and intensive care.

Education:

Dr. Zhang received his master’s degree in Pediatrics from Fudan University in 2020. Meanwhile, Dr. Zhang completed his residency training in Pediatric Surgery in Children’s Hospital of Fudan University, where he treated patients and developed expertise in managing various critical conditions.

Background:

Before joining United Family Hospital in Shanghai, Dr Zhang worked as a pediatric surgeon from 2017-2022 in Children’s Hospital of Fudan University. He practiced in pediatric surgical care and urgent care. He also practiced in pediatric sedation & anesthesia. He is familiar with emergent intubation and resuscitation for critical patients.

He holds certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) in Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

In addition, Dr. Zhang has published as first author in medical journals including the Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of Tissue Engineering and Reconstructive Surgery and Advances in skin & wound care.

In 2022, Dr Zhang joined the UFH Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program to expand his scope of practice and enhance his ability to provide exceptional care to patients.  He has also been on rotation in other clinical specialties in United Family Hospitals providing care for adult and children.
