Dr. Shi Yuhua has focused on clinical ophthalmology for nearly 30 years and has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating common eye diseases in adults and children. She is particularly skilled in diagnosing and treating refractive disorders in children and adolescents, personalized myopia control, diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of dry eye, cataract surgery, external eye surgery, as well as diagnosing and treating glaucoma and various retinal diseases.

Education:

Dr. Shi received her medical degree from Nanjing medical University in 1996, and was later awarded a master’s degree in ophthalmology in 2002, also from Nanjing medical University. In 2010, she received her Doctorate in ophthalmology from Shanghai Jiaotong University. In 2015-2016, Dr.Shi was worked in the University of California, San Francisco as a postdoctoral researcher.

Background:

Dr. Shi has over 20 years of clinical experience. Before joining the United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Shi served in the Department of Ophthalmology of General Hospital of Nanjing Military for nearly 20 years. Dr. Shi is good at the diagnosis and treatment of fundus diseases, dry eyes, ocular surface diseases, refractive errors of children and adolescents, glaucoma, cataract and other diseases.

Dr. Shi is board certified by the National Health Commission. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Shi is published in medical journals, including the Current Eye Rearch, and Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology.
