Dr. Ashish Maskay specializes in diagnosis and treatment of sports medicine and joint diseases and general orthopedics. He received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS) from Chittagong Medical College in Bangladesh (recognized by General Medical Council, UK) and a Medical Degree (MD) from Fudan university. In late 2023, he participated in  an Academic Fellowship in Sports Medicine from Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in Manhattan, New York (regarded as the No. 1 Orthopedics Hospital in USA).

Background:

Dr. Maskay has experience with healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, Nepal, Bangladesh and China and has had over 20 years of surgical clinical experience. Though Dr. Maskay started practicing as a General Surgeon since 2008, he has primarily been involved in the clinical diagnosis of Sports Medicine and Orthopedics cases and participated in Sports Medicine, Joints and Orthopedics surgeries since 2012. He has served several years as the ATP Rolex Masters Tournament physician (one of those years as Chief Tournament Physician) and also served as the game physician for UFC (Ultimate Fight Championship). He has also been involved with Notre Dame de Paris, Cirque du Soleil, Brawl on the Bund as one of the treating medical providers.
