Dr. Hong is proficient in anesthesia and acute pain service for various kinds of operations, including critical patient management,anesthesia for elderly and children, obstetric anesthesia/analgesia, especially focusing on evidence-based state-of-art patient care.

Education:

Dr. Hong graduated from China Medical University and later Peking Union Medical College, receiving Master degree on anesthesiology. Dr. Hong had residency training in Peking Union Medical College hospital, including rotation in cardiovascular hospital and Beijing children hospital. Dr. Hong did one-year clinical and research fellowship in McGill University Medical Center, Montreal, Canada, from 2002 to 2003.

Working experience:

Dr. Hong started her career as an anesthesiologist in Peking Union Medical College Hospital ever since graduation, from resident, attending until certified as associate professor in 2006. For 13 years in PUMCH, Dr. Hong had been through big variety of clinical anesthesia for critically ill cases, elderly, children and acute pain management, and became proficient in all kinds of techniques. Deeply embedded in PUMCH academic tradition, Dr. Hong has built up solid evidence-based as well as patient-care model of thinking in clinical practice. Dr. Hong has been working in United Family Hospital for more than 10ys, she has rich experience on state-of-art patient care, providing high quality of safe and comfort anesthesia, as well as analgesia for OB and acute pain management for surgical patients.
