Hui SHENG

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Sheng has developed an expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, myopia control, orthokeratology fitting, dry eye diagnosis and treatment, intravitreal injections, ophthalmologic laser therapies, cataract phacoemulsicifcation and intraocular lens implantations, and external eye surgeries.

Education:

Dr. Sheng received her MD in Ophthalmology from Fudan University. Dr. Sheng has published over 10 papers in various Chinese and international medical journals and has coauthored four books on Ophthalmology. Additionally, she was a project leader of the Ministry of Education. She also participated in projects from the National Natural Science Fund and Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. She once won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award.

Dr. Sheng is a member of International Academy of Orthokeratology Asia (IAOA) and America Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).

Background:

Dr. Sheng has done ophthalmic research work in Tufts University as a visiting scholar sponsored by Ministry of Education. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital, she worked in the Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University.
