Dr. Fan specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of foot and ankle-related injuries and sports injuries, including surgical treatment of ankle ligament and cartilage injuries, ankle fractures and dislocations, foot deformities (flat feet, high arched feet, hallux valgus, etc.), osteonecrosis and arthritis.

Background:

Dr. Fan graduated from Medical School of Shanghai Jiaotong University. Dr. Fan has more than 10 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, and before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital, he received training in trauma orthopedics and arthroscopic surgery techniques in the Department of Orthopedics of Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital.

In addition to focusing on clinical practice, Dr. Fan has also published a number of academic articles in many domestic and foreign journals, including 5 SCI articles, participated in the compilation of many orthopedic books such as “Joint Replacement”, and also served as a special reviewer for the professional orthopedic journal “International Orthopedics”.
