Education:

Dr. ZHANG received his medical degree from Shanghai School of Medicine in 1998, and was later awarded a medical Master degree in 2008 from Second Military Medical University. Dr. ZHANG completed his residency at Shanghai General Hospital in 2001. He was promoted to attending surgeon in 2003, and was promoted to associate chief surgeon in 2009.

Dr. ZHANG has over 20 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare Shanghai Service Area, Dr. ZHANG served in Shanghai general hospital as a specialist in gastrointestinal surgery, He is good at the surgical treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, especially gastrointestinal malignant tumors, inguinal hernia, anal fistula, perianal abscess, hemorrhoids, acute appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, perforation of digestive tract, acute cholecystitis, acute choledocholithiasis, benign and malignant breast and thyroid tumors. Dr. ZHANG is a youth committee member of Hernia Surgery branch of Chinese Medical Promotion Association. He is also a Quality Control expert of general surgery of Shanghai Medical Association. Award for outstanding individual contribution to foreign medical support in 2013. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. ZHANG is published in various medical journals both in mainland of China and abroad.
