Dr. Robin ZHOU has over 20 years of medical working experience and is specialised in the Diagnosis and treatment of urinary disorders such as frequent urination, urgency, difficulty urinating, stones, and benign prostatic hyperplasia, etc; Proficient in performing PCNL lithotripsy, ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy, and microsurgical procedures such as microsurgical varicocele resection (MV). He is also proficient in minimally invasive urology and intracavitary surgery, such as transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), transurethral resection of bladder tumors (TURBT), and minimally invasive surgical repair of female pelvic prolapse. He has complimented experience in male reproductive health management, female urinary disorders, female pelvic floor diseases, and pelvic floor function reconstruction.

Education:

Dr. ZHOU graduated from Xi ‘an Jiaotong University with a master’s degree in Urology. As a visiting scholar and associate researcher, he completed training in UBC Urology in 2018.

Background:

Dr. ZHOU has over 20 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Medical Shanghai, Dr. Zhou worked in Shanghai Oriental Hospital, Urology Department. He published several academic articles in medical journals, with 6 SCI articles included as the first author. He has completed many professional training, such as standardized training of urinary flow mechanics examination of Chinese Medical Association, urinary incontinence pelvic floor surgery training in North America, the first CUA “SNM standardized training”, and sacral nerve regulation program control training. Study at the Urology and Prostate Center of Vancouver General Hospital, Canada from 2016 to 2017. After returning to China from a study abroad in 2018, he focused on the treatment of pelvic floor diseases and urinary incontinence, and carried out related surgeries such as urinary incontinence surgery, pelvic floor reconstruction surgery, and SNM implantation surgery. In 2020, Female Urology Group of Chinese Society of Urology, the second prize of the first national “Nuwa” Cup surgery video competition.
