Jing Gai is experienced in multiple clinical issues as follows: Common issues among adolescents including school refusals, cellphone/ internet addictions, and behavior/ emotional disturbances. Issues in family relationships including marital/ couple relationships, parent-child relationships, and original family relationships. She is also specialized in self-growth topics including stress management, low self-esteem, childhood trauma, and lack of sense of security. Other specialties involves procrastination and sexual related issues. She is LGBTQ friendly psychotherapist as well.
Education:
Jing Gai received her Bachelor’s Degree from Wannan Medical College in 2011. She is currently a M. Ed candidate in Applied Psychology (Counseling and Clinical Orientation) from the Eastern China Normal University.
Background:
Jing Gai has over 8 years of clinical experience in counseling and psychotherapy. She provided more than 2700 hours of client contacts. She is a certified psychotherapist by the National Health Care Commission as well as a National Level 3 mental health counselor. Before joining United Family Healthcare Shanghai Service Area, Jing Gai worked as a private practiced counselor, also served as a mental health counselor from the Eastern China Normal University. To maintain her clinical competency, Jing Gai regularly accepting clinical supervision, participate in annual continuing education, and taking classes dealing with subjects relevant to this profession with more than 1020 accumulated hours until 25th Sep 2023.
