Biography

Dr. Sun graduated from the Department of Pediatrics at Qingdao Medical College in 1986, she then went on to Capital Medical University where she got her MMed in 1993 and MD in 2000. She then served as a resident of pediatric surgery at Beijing Children’s Hospital.

He is skilled in the diagnosis, conservative treatment, and surgical treatment of children’s fractures, muscular torticollis, scoliosis, hip dysplasia, unequal lower limb lengths, angular deformity of the lower limbs, and clubfoot.

Dr. Sun has nearly 30 years of practical experience in pediatric orthopedics and has accumulated rich clinical experience. During his clinic work, Dr. Sun has visited and studied orthopedics at well-known children’s hospitals in the United States multiple times. As the Editor-in-chief and deputy editor-in-chief, he participated in the writing of four professional books, served as an editorial board member and peer reviewer for the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery and other domestic pediatric surgery journals. Dr. Sun has also published more than 30 articles as the first or corresponding author.

He served as a member and secretary of the Pediatric Orthopedics Group of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the preparatory team leader of the Pediatric Orthopedics Group, Vice President of the Beijing Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Association, and a member of the Beijing Rare Disease Association.
