Dr. Liu has several areas of speciality including X-ray, CT and MR diagnosis.

Education:

Dr. Liu received his medical degree from the Fourth Military Medical University, Xi’an, China in 1986. After that, he completed the Military Young Talents Fund in clinical medicine at the General Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), Beijing, 1994-1996 and went on to become a visiting scholar at Michigan University Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA in 2008.

Working Experience:

Dr. Liu has more than 30 years of clinical experience. Before joining SHU, he was a professor at the Radiology Department of the Changning District Central Hospital, Shanghai. Dr. Liu has specific skills in radiologic diagnostics, including CT and MRI diagnosis of the whole body, especially the lungs and abdominal organs, as well as trauma of the bones and joints. Dr. Liu is a member of the Musculoskeletal Group, Shanghai Radiology Society and committee member of Shanghai Non-Public Medical Association. In addition to his imaging diagnostic work, Dr. Liu has published some papers in medical journals, such as the Chinese Journal of Radiology.
