Dr. Xu specializes in both normal and high-risk pregnancies. She is skilled in various midwifery and obstetrics-related surgeries, in treating and managing high-risk pregnancies, and is experienced in postpartum rehabilitation management. She is also skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases, in gynecological open surgery, minimally-invasive laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and more.

Bio:

Dr. Xu has over 30 years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics. She was previously the Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tongren Hospital, affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, where she was responsible for the treatment and management of many critically-ill expectant mothers. She has also been engaged in teaching and presiding over a number of research projects that were district health bureau level and above. She has published dozens of core journals and SCI papers. Dr. Xu joined Shanghai United Family Hospital in 2019.

Dr. Xu graduated from the Department of Medicine, Suzhou Medical College, and previously trained at the Department of Gynecology at Shanghai Ruijin Hospital. In 2010, she was selected for the Shanghai Senior Personnel Training Programme for Obstetrics (second batch), and was the only doctor from Changning District that was selected for the Shanghai Senior Talent Pool.
