Dr. Lu has over 30 years of clinical experience from China and Australia, in pediatric and in adult medicine. She joined the Shanghai United Family Hospital in 2015. She is the Department Chair, and an Assistant Chief Medical Officer overseeing outpatient departments. Her passion is in unifying the medical team with evidence based medicine approach.
Before joining the Shanghai United Family Hospital, Dr. Lu practiced in the Sun Yatsen University #2 hospital as a pediatric resident, The Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children (University of Sydney) as resident medical officer and a clinical researcher, International SOS Assistance Guangzhou & Eur Am Medical Center as family medicine physician and CMO.
Dr. Lu has medical training and licenses in both Australia and China. She has been certified by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Since 2013 Dr. Lu is a clinical teacher & examiner for the Sydney Child Health Program from University of Sydney. This program supports continuing medical education in pediatrics in developing countries.
Dr. Lu speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
